This is an Illinois OFF DUTY model wristwatch. It has an excellent unpolished WGF semi-hermetically sealed case and an excellent original dial with a modest patina and a desirable silver subsidiary bit.
This is a relatively difficult model to find and is the first one I have offered for sale in years.
This watch is from the Farrell and Ann Gay Springfield Industry Museum Collection. I am offering it for sale on behalf of the Gay family.
Its 3/0 size, 17j movement is running fine and is guaranteed for one year plus ten days.
