Description
This is an ACE model Illinois wristwatch. It has an excellent WGF case with its original crown. It has an extremely rare original dial with its subsidiary seconds at 9. It is the only the second ACE I have seen like this one. The other one is featured on page 965 of my book set. The one offered here has an identical dial but this dial is in much better condition than the one in the book set. All other ACE watches have subsidiary seconds at 6.
Its 3/0: size, 15j movement is running fine and is guaranteed for one year plus ten days.
Interestingly, the same knowledgeable Illinois collector friend and neighbor discovered both of these rarities!!
This special dial transforms what would be a relatively common watch into a highly rare one!
